PHYSIOTHERAPY

Physiotherapy is also called "physical therapy". It attempts to treat what limits a person's abilities to move and do things in their daily life. It is the treatment of disease, injury, deformity or disability to improve the quality of life. We use exercise, hands-on technique, patient education and various modalities to rehab the patient.
Physiotherapy plays an important role in the recovery of stroke patients. It also plays a major role in treating children with cerebral palsy, and in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. Physiotherapy has three main categories which are orthopaedics, neuro-physiotherapy, and cardiorespiratory physiotherapy. Sports physiotherapists specialise in the strains and injuries caused to sportspeople.
